"GOODBYE MR. ROSSI CONCERT"
After 37 years of being a teacher, the final night of my career was spent on the stage at the Fox Theater in Salinas, California performing a concert with students (present and past), musical and teaching colleagues, but best of all, the original cast of 4 Ever Kids, the children's performance group that I spent my 30s and 40s writing songs, recording albums, performing shows and concerts, and traveling the country with.
The song that I used for my "Goodbye Mr. Rossi" You Tube slide show video to commemorate the night is the song that we used to start every 4 Ever Kid show. It's our 4 Ever Kid Theme Song. NOTE: The young man in the final picture is my former student Matt. How cool is it that he is the one the district hired to take over my Music position when I retired!!! |

WHAT DOES 37 YEARS OF TEACHING LOOK LIKE?
I put together a slide show that we ran at the "Goodbye Mr. Rossi Concert" and the music that I used for this video was performed and recorded by John Sherry, a phenomenal guitar player/songwriter/producer/looper that I had the opportunity to play with in Cheeky Spanks.
