The Flat Rock Boys
This is the Flat Rock Boys. We get hired or invited to play our brand of music at all kinds of events. Our song selection is unique, and our arrangements and instrumentation can be a bit unconventional. However, our energy and love for playing is contagious and people like us. We are fearless and often find ourselves hanging on for dear life as we follow Mike, our energetic leader.
The Flat Rock Boys consists of Mike Lauritson (lead vocal/guitar), Clem Richardson (vocal/percussion), Jon Fanoe (vocal/drums), Bill Lorentz (vocal/mandolin/guitar/bass), and yours truly (vocal/bass/piano/guitar/harmonica/mandolin). A Flat Rock Boy set may include a little bit of Country, Folk, Rock, Old Jazz, the Blues, Italian, Irish, and maybe even some Pop. Chances are that you're going to be tapping your toes, and most likely, you'll be singing along!
